On le fait tourner au-dessus de la t\u00eate ou sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9, ce qui fait vibrer l\u2019air et cr\u00e9e un vrombissement. Consid\u00e9r\u00e9 avant tout comme un instrument australien, il est \u00e9galement connu et utilis\u00e9 un peu partout dans le monde : \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle, nous retrouvons des rhombes chez certains peuples africains, aborig\u00e8nes, de Papouasie Nouvelle-Guin\u00e9e, d&rsquo;Amazonie dans le cadre de rituels.
